before you start
Is sellX right for me?
If orders reach you every day on Instagram, WhatsApp or Facebook, and you’re tired of replying and writing them down, yes. Start free, and once you pass 30 orders a month, plans start from 499 EGP.
Do I have to stop selling in the chat?
No. Keep replying to your customers as you do now, just send them the product link to order from. If someone insists on ordering in the chat, add their order by hand to the same list.
Does the customer need an account or an app?
No. They open the link on their phone, pick the product, type their name, phone and address, and order.
Does the order message come to my own number?
Yes, to the WhatsApp number you add in your store settings, after you verify it with a code. The message is sent from sellX’s official WhatsApp number. If you set quiet hours, no alerts are sent during them.
Do I need to know coding or design?
No. You pick your store’s look from 12 free themes, add your logo and colors, and add your products with their photos, prices and sizes.
Does sellX ship my orders?
No, delivery stays with you, through the courier or delivery rep you already use. sellX works out the delivery fee by governorate, and if you have a Bosta account you can connect it and book shipments from the order page. Customers follow their order’s status from a link.
